AOC Gets Smackdown from Former Greenpeace Advocate

Her idiotic Green New Deal and her hypocrisy called out

We noted previously, the enormous chasm between the hardships AOC’s carbon-free economy would impose on the rest of us and her own automobile-centric lifestyle, wholly inconsistent with the very eco-principles she espouses.

Patrick Moore, a co-founder of Greenpeace, who is no longer affiliated with that organization, yet calls himself a sensible environmentalist, excoriated Ocasio-Cortez for her monumental hypocrisy and her appalling ignorance about the environment and carbon emissions. Moore called Ocasio-Cortez a “garden variety hypocrite,” for her do as I say, not as I do, phony commitment to the principles espoused by her own Green New Deal.

Moore had this to say about Ocasio-Cortez’s comment that until those who questioned her plan had a better way to combat the climate change crisis, “we are in charge.”

“Pompous little twit. You don’t have a plan to grow food for 8 billion people without fossil fuels, or get food into the cities. Horses? If fossil fuels were banned every tree in the world would be cut down for fuel for cooking and heating. You would bring about mass death.”

Moore also scoffed at Ocasio-Cortez’s ludicrous characterization of climate change as her generation’s World War II,

“It’s her @GND that would be worse than WW2,” he said. “Imagine no fuel for cars, trucks, tractors, combines, harvesters, power-plants, ships, aircraft, etc. Transport of people & goods would grind to a halt.”

Does AOC have any inkling of the history of WWII and the 60 million dead toll that it exacted on the world? If she did, she couldn’t have made the climate change comparison and kept a straight face.

But then again, as the public is slowly realizing, a firm grasp of history is not Octavio-Cortez’s strong point.
